The Lightning's Secret Friend
Lily loved swimming more than anything in the world. Every summer day, she'd splash in the ocean until her fingers wrinkled like raisins. But one stormy afternoon, while watching lightning crackle across the dark sky, she discovered something magical.
A tiny spark of lightning didn't fade away like usual. Instead, it danced closer and closer until it zapped right into her backyard. To Lily's surprise, the spark transformed into a tiny glowing girl with hair made of crackling light!
"I'm Spark!" the lightning girl said. "And I need your help. I'm supposed to be a spy for the Sky Kingdom, but I keep getting distracted by all the pretty lights down here. Now I've lost the special lightning gem I was supposed to protect!"
Lily's eyes widened. "I can help you find it!"
"But we have to hurry," Spark worried. "Without my gem, I can't return home before the storm ends."
Lily had a wild idea. "What if you teach me to swim through the air like you do? Then we can search everywhere!"
Spark's eyes twinkled. "That's perfect! Hold my hand, and remember – true friends help each other, no matter how big the problem!"
Together they zoomed above the trees, searching for the missing gem. They spotted it glinting in a bird's nest near the top of an old oak tree.
"Thank you, Lily!" Spark cheered, carefully retrieving the gem. "You're the best friend ever!"
Before flying home, Spark pressed something into Lily's palm – a tiny lightning bug that would glow whenever Lily needed courage.
"Remember," Spark whispered as she floated upward, "the best adventures happen when you help a friend!"
That night, Lily fell asleep smiling, her new lightning bug glowing softly on her nightstand, ready for their next magical adventure together.
