The Lightning Pyramid's Secret Friend

Emma loved swimming, especially on stormy days when the pool felt like a secret ocean. Her best friend Leo thought she was crazy. "Who swims during a thunderstorm?" he'd say, but Emma knew something magical happened when lightning flashed across the sky.

One afternoon, as Emma splashed in the pool, a bolt of lightning struck the old oak tree nearby. Instead of burning it, the tree transformed into a glowing crystal pyramid that pulsed with rainbow light. Emma gasped and swam closer.

Inside the pyramid, she found someone sleeping on a bed of clouds. It was a zombie—but not a scary one. This zombie had bright blue skin, sparkly green hair, and wore a polka-dotted cape. His nametag read "ZIMBY."

Zimby yawned and stretched. "Finally, someone found me! I've been waiting 500 years for a swimming buddy!"

Emma laughed. "You're a zombie who likes to swim?"

"The friendliest zombie in all the magical realms!" Zimby did a happy dance. "The lightning pyramid only appears for kids with brave hearts. Want to see my secret water world?"

He snapped his fingers, and suddenly they were swimming through a tunnel of stars. Fish made of crystal swam beside them, and the water tasted like strawberries. Zimby showed Emma the Friendship Fountain, where wishes came true if you made them for someone else.

Emma wished that Leo could experience this magic.

POOF! Leo appeared beside them, spluttering. "What's happening?"

"The lightning pyramid chose you too!" Emma cried.

Zimby grinned. "True friends always find each other in magical places."

They spent hours swimming through galaxies of wonder, until another lightning flash sent them home. The crystal pyramid faded back into an old oak tree, but Emma knew it would return whenever friendship called.
