The Lightning Pyramid's Secret

Lily loved thunderstorms. While other children hid under blankets, she pressed her nose against the window, watching the sky light up.

One rainy evening, something magical happened. A bolt of lightning didn't just flash — it danced. It spiraled down from the clouds like a glowing ribbon and landed right in her backyard!

Lily slipped outside in her rainboots. Where the lightning had struck sat a tiny pyramid no bigger than her thumb. It sparkled with electricity, humming a soft melody.

"Hello?" she whispered.

The pyramid suddenly grew to Lily's height! Inside its glowing walls, she saw a small creature — a Lightning Sprite named Zapp, who looked like a ball of golden light with tiny wings.

"Thank you for finding me!" Zapp chimed. "I've been lost for a hundred years!"

Lily's neighbor Leo appeared, breathing hard from running through the rain. "I saw the light! Is everything okay?"

When Zapp explained about being lost, Leo gasped. "We need to help you get home!"

"But how?" Lily asked.

Zapp glowed brighter. "If we work together and trust each other, the pyramid will show the way!"

The three friends held hands. Lily felt brave. Leo felt strong. Zapp felt hopeful.

Suddenly, the pyramid lifted into the air, carrying them higher and higher through the storm clouds. Raindrops sparkled like diamonds around them. Wind tickled their faces.

"We're running with the clouds!" Leo laughed.

They arrived at a magical kingdom in the sky where Lightning Sprites danced across crystal castles. Zapp's family greeted them with joy.

"Thank you for your courage and kindness," Zapp's mother said. "True friendship is the brightest light of all."

The pyramid carried Lily and Leo home, tucking them safely into bed. As Lily drifted to sleep, she smiled, knowing the best adventures are the ones you share with friends.
