The Lightning Pyramid's Secret
Lily loved to build pyramids in her sandbox. Each afternoon, she would carefully pat the sand into perfect triangles, imagining they were magical castles for tiny fairies.
One rainy afternoon, her best friend Maya came over to play. 'Let's build the biggest pyramid ever!' Maya cheered.
They worked together, piling wet sand higher and higher. But just as they placed the final piece, the sky turned dark purple. CRACK! Lightning flashed across the clouds like golden ribbons.
'Look!' Lily gasped. Where their sand pyramid had been, a crystal pyramid now sparkled. It glowed with soft blue light, growing brighter with each lightning flash.
The girls crept closer, amazed. The pyramid had tiny doors that swung open, revealing miniature rooms inside.
'Maybe it's magic,' Maya whispered. Lightning flashed again, and little glowing beings appeared—tiny people with wings like dragonflies.
The smallest being flew to Lily's hand. 'Thank you for building us a home,' she chimed. 'Only when two friends work together with pure hearts can the Lightning Pyramid appear.'
Lily and Maya spent the afternoon watching their magical friends dance between raindrops, leaving trails of sparkles wherever they flew. The lightning wasn't scary anymore—it was the magic that made new friends possible.
As sunset came, the crystal pyramid melted back into sand. But Lily knew something wonderful: true friendship could create magic, even on rainy days.
That night, Lily tucked a tiny pyramid-shaped box under her pillow. Inside, she kept a special lightning shell Maya had found— a reminder that some treasures are best discovered together.
