The Lightning Pyramid Game

zombielightningpadelpyramid

Lily and Ben loved playing padel at the park. The racquet ball bounced faster than rabbits, zoom-zoom-zoom between their rackets. But today, something strange sparkled at the edge of the playground—a small golden pyramid no bigger than a shoebox, glowing as if someone had trapped a star inside.

"What is it?" Ben whispered, touching the smooth pyramid.

CRACK! Lightning flashed from clear blue sky! The pyramid rumbled and split open, and out tumbled a green figure. A zombie! But not a scary one—this zombie wore a glittering crown and smiled like a grandpa.

"Thank you, young friends!" the zombie cheered, dusting off his ancient purple robe. "I am King Zobble, guardian of the Pyramid of Play. I've been stuck for three hundred years!"

King Zobble explained that a grumpy wizard had trapped him because the zombie king loved games too much. "The spell only breaks if someone shows true friendship through play."

Lily's eyes widened. "We know just the game!"

They taught King Zobble to play padel. The zombie moved slowly and kept tripping over his own feet, but he giggled more than anyone had ever heard a zombie giggle. His serves sent the ball floating like bubbles, and when he missed, he did a silly dance that made Ben and Lily laugh until their tummies hurt.

"Friends!" King Zobble hugged them. "You freed me not just with magic, but with joy!"

He tapped his pyramid, which turned into thousands of butterflies that carried the zombie king home. But every full moon, King Zobble returns for padel tournaments, teaching children that friendship is the strongest magic of all.

Now Lily and Ben know: adventures can find you anywhere, even on a regular Tuesday at the park. And sometimes, the most unexpected friends become the best ones of all.
