The Lightning Pyramid Adventure

Lily, Ben, and Mia were building the biggest blanket pyramid ever in Lily's living room. They stacked cushions and pillows high until it touched the ceiling lamp.

"It's our magical pyramid!" Lily cheered. "Let's play padel inside it!"

They grabbed their mini padel rackets and hit a soft ball back and forth, giggling as the blanket walls wobbled. Suddenly, CRACK! Lightning flashed outside, even though it had been sunny all day.

The lightning bolt seemed to shoot right through the window and zapped their pillow pyramid! For a moment, everything glowed purple.

"Did you see that?" Ben gasped.

Then something magical happened. Their old stuffed animals started moving! A worn teddy bear sat up, a ragged bunny hopped, and a tired elephant stretched.

"We're zombie toys!" the teddy bear said in a fuzzy voice. "Your lightning magic woke us from our long sleep!"

"You're not scary zombie toys," Mia laughed. "You're our FRIENDS!"

The zombie toys explained they had been sleeping for years, waiting for lightning magic to bring them back to play. But there was one problem — they were terribly thirsty from their long nap.

"Water!" all the zombie toys cried together. "We need water to wake up properly!"

The three friends rushed to the kitchen, filling bowls with fresh water. As the toys drank, they became fluffier and brighter. The teddy bear's smile grew wider. The bunny's fur became soft again.

"Thank you for rescuing us," the elephant said. "You didn't run away when we woke up as zombie toys. You helped us instead."

Lily, Ben, and Mia learned something wonderful that day: sometimes things that seem scary might just need a little help from friends.

They spent the rest of the afternoon playing padel with their newly alive zombie toys inside their magical pyramid. And every time it rained after that, they'd leave out bowls of water, just in case any other sleeping toys needed a magical awakening.
