The Lightning Pyramid
Maya pressed her face against the rainy window, clutching her iphone. She was supposed to be sleeping, but the storm outside was too exciting. Lightning flashed across the sky like nature's fireworks, making her room glow purple for a split second.
Suddenly, her iphone screen began to sparkle. Strange symbols appeared, swirling like a tiny galaxy. Maya gasped as a golden pyramid emerged from the screen — no bigger than her thumb — hovering right above her bed!
"Come swim with me," the pyramid chimed in a voice like wind chimes.
Before Maya could answer, the room filled with warm, glowing water. But she wasn't afraid. She was swimming through air that sparkled like diamonds! The pyramid grew larger, becoming a golden palace with doors that opened to reveal whole worlds inside.
Each room held something magical: one had butterflies made of starlight, another housed clouds that whispered dreams. Maya swam from room to room, her hair floating like seaweed, laughing as rainbow fish made of pure joy darted around her.
"You have the biggest imagination," the pyramid said. "That's why I came. Lightning only unlocks doors for children who dare to dream."
Maya understood. The magic wasn't just in the pyramid or the storm — it was in her own heart and mind. She had always imagined adventures, and now they were real!
As the lightning outside faded, the golden pyramid squeezed her hand. "Remember, magic lives wherever you find wonder."
Maya woke in her bed, iphone clutched in her hand, the storm now a gentle rain. But something glimmered on her pillow — a tiny golden pyramid charm, warm to the touch.
She smiled, already planning her next adventure. Sometimes, the best magic is real.
