The Lightning Pool Surprise

Emma loved summer days, especially when she could splash in her backyard pool. But today felt different. Dark clouds gathered overhead as strange purple lightning zigzagged across the sky.

"Come look at this!" called her best friend Leo, running over with his dad's old iPhone. "I captured something magical!"

Emma peered at the screen and gasped. The lightning wasn't just purple—it was creating shapes! A butterfly, a star, even a unicorn!

"What's happening?" Emma whispered.

Suddenly, a tiny bolt of lightning zapped into the pool, turning the water into sparkling rainbow liquid. Where it struck, a small glowing bottle floated to the surface.

Leo reached in carefully. "It says 'Wonder Vitamin' on the label!"

"A vitamin that makes wonder?" Emma's eyes widened.

Together, they took one tiny drop each. Immediately, the world transformed! The backyard trees became candy canes. Flowers sang gentle songs. Fireflies spelled out messages in the air: BELIEVE IN MAGIC.

"This is AMAZING!" Leo laughed, chasing a talking butterfly.

Emma's grandmother appeared beside them, smiling knowingly. "The lightning chooses special children to remind the world that imagination is the most powerful vitamin of all."

The magic lasted exactly one hour. As it faded, the regular lightning returned to normal, and the pool became just water again. But Emma and Leo felt different inside—lighter, braver, more ready to dream.

"Next time," Emma whispered, "we'll be ready."

And every storm after that, they watched the sky with hope, knowing that magic exists for those who believe in the impossible.
