The Lightning Pool Party

Lily loved her backyard swimming pool, especially on warm summer evenings. But tonight was different. The air felt electric, like something magical was about to happen.

As Lily dipped her toes into the sparkling blue water, she heard a slow, shuffling sound. Behind the garden shed, her toy zombie—Zombob the stuffed green friend her grandmother had made—seemed to wiggle! Lily's eyes grew wide. Had Zombob just moved?

CRACK! Lightning flashed across the sky, striking the old oak tree. But instead of damage, golden sparkles rained down into the pool. The water began to glow with swirls of purple and blue.

Suddenly, something magnificent appeared beside the pool. It was a bull—but not like any bull Lily had seen before. Its coat shimmered like stardust, and its horns were made of twisted lightning. The Star Bull lowered its head gently.

"Are you real?" Lily whispered.

The bull nodded, and its voice sounded like distant thunder. "I am the Lightning Bull, guardian of wishes. I come when the storm sings and hearts are brave."

Lily's Zombob toy shuffled toward the pool, and amazingly, it sprang to life! Zombob wasn't scary at all—he was a friendly zombie who loved to dance.

"Pool party!" Zombob cheered in a funny, croaky voice.

The Lightning Bull smiled. "Tonight, magic is for everyone who believes."

They all splashed into the glowing water. Lily, her now-alive zombie friend, and the magical Lightning Bull played games under the starry sky. They had diving contests and splash fights while lightning created beautiful fireworks above them.

As dawn approached, the Lightning Bull touched Lily's forehead with his starry nose. "Remember, magic lives wherever friendship and imagination meet."

With one final flash of lightning, he was gone. Zombob became a stuffed toy again, curled up peacefully on the pool deck.

Lily hugged Zombob tight, her heart full of wonder. Some adventures might be over, but the magic of friendship lasts forever. And every time it stormed, she'd glance at her pool, hoping for another Lightning Pool Party.
