The Lightning Party Cure

Mia loved her shiny iPhone, but today something strange happened. While playing her favorite game, a burst of lightning flashed through her screen and zapped her hand!

"Wow!" she gasped, as tiny sparkles danced from her fingertips.

Following the sparkles, she tiptoed to the backyard and found something amazing — a group of zombie garden gnomes standing perfectly still. Their painted eyes looked sad and sleepy.

"Hello?" Mia whispered.

One gnome yawned. "We've lost our party power!"

Mia noticed an old charging cable tangled near the flowerbed. It glowed with rainbow colors. "Maybe this can help!"

She carefully plugged the cable into the ground. Lightning from an approaching storm crackled above, and suddenly the cable pulsed with energy.

"Quick!" Mia remembered her vitamins. She grabbed her bottle of orange chewables and placed one near each gnome. "These give me energy when I'm tired!"

The lightning, the cable, and the vitamins combined into a magical swirl. The gnomes' eyes twinkled. Their painted smiles stretched wide. One by one, they stretched their little arms and legs.

"Party time!" cheered the lead gnome, doing a happy little dance.

All night long, Mia and the zombie gnomes danced in the moonlight. They spun and twirled until the sun began to peek over the trees.

"Thank you, Mia!" the gnomes called, returning to their frozen positions. "We'll never forget our party power!"

Mia skipped inside, her iPhone glowing with new magic. Some adventures, she discovered, were better than any video game.
