The Lightning Padel's Secret
Lila loved her old orange padel racket. It had belonged to her grandmother, and something about it felt magical.
One stormy evening, as lightning cracked across the sky, Lila noticed something strange. Her padel began to glow! Each time lightning flashed, the racket shimmered like a tiny star. Curious, Lila held it up and peered through the strings—like a spy with a special spyglass.
Through the glowing strings, she saw something amazing. A magnificent bull was walking through her backyard! But not just any bull—this one was the color of sunset oranges, with horns that twinkled like diamonds.
"Hello," Lila whispered, stepping outside.
The orange bull turned. His eyes were kind and ancient. "I am Taurus," he said in a voice like distant thunder. "I fell from the sky during the lightning storm. I must return home before dawn, or I'll turn into an ordinary bull forever."
Lila's heart swelled with determination. "I'll help you!"
Her magical padel glowed brighter with each lightning flash, creating a ladder of light up to the stars. Taurus climbed carefully, his orange coat glowing against the night sky.
"Thank you, little friend," Taurus called down, safely back among his constellation. "Whenever lightning strikes, remember—you can see magic if you only look through the right eyes."
Now, whenever storms come, Lila grabs her orange padel and becomes a lightning spy, watching for magical friends who might need help. She learned that kindness is the brightest magic of all.
