The Lightning Padel of Pyramid Peak
Lily loved nothing more than playing padel with her grandfather in their dusty backyard. But today, the sky crackled with strange lightning that didn't come from any storm. Instead, it zigzagged upward, as if it were being pulled toward the mysterious Pyramid Peak mountain beyond their village.
"What's happening?" Lily asked, dropping her padel racket. Her grandfather's eyes twinkled.
"The mountain is calling someone," he said. "It only happens when someone with a pure heart needs to discover something important."
Before Lily could ask more questions, a magnificent creature emerged from behind the old barn — a golden bull with shimmering fur and eyes like starlight. The bull lowered its head gently.
"Climb upon my back, young Lily," the bull spoke in a voice like distant thunder. "The Pyramid Peak awaits."
Lily's heart raced with excitement and fear. But as she looked into the bull's kind eyes, she knew she could trust him. She climbed onto his broad back, and they soared into the sky, following the path of the lightning.
At the summit of Pyramid Peak stood an ancient stone pyramid covered in glowing symbols. Inside, Lily found a garden where the most vibrant spinach grew — leaves that sparkled with emerald light.
"This spinach gives not physical strength, but courage," the bull explained. "Many have come seeking power for themselves. Only the pure-hearted come to help others."
Lily understood. Her village had been suffering from a drought, and the crops were dying. She wished for rain to save her neighbors' farms, not for herself.
As she made her selfless wish, the spinach's light spread upward through the pyramid's peak, and the lightning changed color — becoming gentle rain that fell across the land below.
"Thank you," Lily whispered, hugging the bull's golden neck. The ride home was filled with rainbow light as rain showered the grateful village.
From that day on, whenever thunder rumbled across the sky, Lily smiled — knowing her friend the golden bull was reminding her that true magic comes from kindness and selflessness.
