The Lightning Magic Phone

Lily loved her old iPhone, especially the funny zombie game where green characters stumbled around looking for golden coins. One hot afternoon, she and her best friend Maya went swimming in Willow Creek Pond.

Suddenly, the sky turned purple-gray. CRACK! Lightning flashed across the clouds like a giant's flashlight. The air buzzed with magic.

Lily's iPhone, resting on her towel, began to GLOW. A tiny beam of light shot from the screen, and suddenly—POOF!—the little zombie game character appeared beside them!

But this zombie wasn't scary at all. He was small and green with bright purple eyes, wearing a tiny polka-dot bowtie. He looked at the swimming pond and did a happy little wiggle dance.

The zombie pointed at the water, then at himself. He wanted to go swimming too!

Maya laughed. 'I think he wants to join us!'

Lily and Maya helped the little zombie swim. He floated like a green leaf, kicking his tiny legs and splashing water everywhere. Every time lightning flashed, he'd glow even brighter and make funny bubbly sounds.

'This is the best adventure ever!' Maya cheered.

When the storm passed, the zombie began to fade. 'Thank you, friends,' he seemed to say with a happy wave, before turning back into light and disappearing into Lily's iPhone.

Lily picked up her phone. The zombie game character now wore a tiny polka-dot bowtie, just like in their real adventure. Some lightning magic had stayed behind.

That night, Lily learned that magic happens when you least expect it, especially when you share adventures with good friends. And sometimes, the most unlikely creatures can become the best companions.
