The Lightning-Haired Girl and the Sky Bull

Luna had the most extraordinary hair anyone had ever seen. It tumbled down her back in wild, coppery waves, and when she laughed, tiny sparks danced at the ends like fireflies. Her grandmother called it lightning hair, blessed by the storm spirits.

One summer afternoon, while running through the golden meadow near her house, Luna noticed something peculiar. A massive shape was drifting among the fluffy clouds above—a great bull made entirely of mist and moonlight, its horns gleaming like polished silver.

The cloud bull lowered its head and looked right at her.

"Come up," it seemed to say without speaking, its voice echoing like distant thunder.

Luna's hair crackled with excitement. Before she could think twice, she found herself rising into the air, lifted by something invisible and gentle. The cloud bull waited patiently as she climbed onto its back, her fingers sinking into soft, cool mist.

"Hold on tight," the bull rumbled kindly. "We're going swimming."

Before Luna could ask where, they dove into a sea of clouds that stretched forever. It was like swimming in the sky! Colors swirled around them—pink and gold and purple—changing as the sun began to set.

They raced through thunderheads, and Luna's hair joined the flashes of lightning, making the storm beautiful instead of scary. She laughed with pure joy as they soared past stars that winked hello.

"Why did you choose me?" Luna asked as they floated peacefully.

"Because you see magic where others see only weather," the bull answered. "Your heart holds the same spark as your hair."

As they returned to her meadow, the bull nuzzled her hand. "Visit whenever you need to remember that wonder lives in the ordinary."

Luna ran home with her hair still crackling softly, knowing she would never look at storms—or herself—the same way again.
