The Lightning-Haired Boy and the Star Bull
Leo had the most extraordinary hair in the world. Whenever he felt excited, tiny sparks of lightning danced between his curls like little fireflies. His grandmother called it his magic power.
One stormy afternoon, Leo discovered a dusty old hat in her attic. It was purple with silver stars embroidered around the brim. As soon as he placed it on his head, his cat Luna began to purr so loudly that the hat started to glow.
Outside, real lightning flashed across the sky. Suddenly, something enormous materialized in the backyard — a magnificent bull made of pure starlight, his horns gleaming like crescent moons.
"I've fallen from my constellation," the Star Bull rumbled sadly. "Without me, the Taurus constellation will disappear from the night sky."
Leo's hair crackled with concern. "How can we help you return?"
"I need to reach the clouds during a lightning storm," the Bull explained. "Only the lightning's magic can lift me back to my starry home."
Luna meowed bravely and jumped onto the Bull's back. Leo, wearing his magical hat, climbed up too. His hair crackled brighter than ever as the biggest lightning bolt of the night struck nearby.
In that flash of light, they began to rise — the Bull, the boy with lightning hair, the brave cat, and the magical hat. Higher and higher they soared until they could see the whole Earth below them, a beautiful blue marble floating in space.
The Bull found his place in the stars, and his constellation shone brighter than ever. Leo and Luna floated safely back to their backyard, where the morning sun was just beginning to rise.
Leo's hair still sparked when he was excited, but now he knew his true power wasn't the lightning — it was his brave heart and willingness to help new friends. Every night, he would look up at the Taurus constellation and wave, and the Star Bull would twinkle back.
Sometimes, Luna would curl up on the purple hat, and they would both remember their magical adventure among the stars.
