The Lightning Hair Adventure
Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he would grab his glove and run to the park where his best friend Maya was already waiting.
One sunny afternoon, Leo's mom handed him a shiny orange pill. "This is a special vitamin," she said with a wink. "It might give you extra energy for your big game tomorrow!"
Leo swallowed it quickly, not thinking much of it. But that night, something strange happened. When he looked in the mirror, his normally brown hair was standing straight up, sparkling with tiny bolts of electricity!
"Whoa!" Leo whispered. He touched his hair and — ZAP! — a tiny lightning bolt shot from his fingertips and made his nightlight flicker.
At the baseball game the next day, Leo's hair was still wild and electric. Maya laughed. "Your hair looks like a lightning bolt struck it!" But when Leo stepped up to bat, he discovered his secret power. He could feel the energy tingling through his body.
The pitcher threw the ball. Leo concentrated, and a tiny spark shot from his hair toward the bat. CRACK! The ball sailed over the fence — a home run!
Maya's eyes grew wide. "How did you do that?"
Leo showed her his special hair and the sparks it made. "But the coolest part isn't hitting home runs," Leo said. "It's sharing it with a friend."
During the last inning, Maya's team was behind. Leo whispered to her, "Touch my hair!" She did, and a spark jumped to her hand. When Maya stepped up to bat, she hit the winning home run!
That day, Leo learned something important: the best superpower isn't just about being strong — it's about lifting up your friends. And sometimes, the most magical adventures start with something as small as a vitamin and a friend who believes in you.
From then on, Leo and Maya were known as the Lightning Team, not just because of the sparks, but because their friendship was electric!
