The Lightning Garden Secret
Lily loved visiting her grandmother's garden. It wasn't like other gardens – this one hummed with magic.
One day while Lily was helping pick vegetables for dinner, she noticed something strange. The **spinach** leaves weren't just green – they sparkled with tiny flashes of silver light. When she touched one, a warm tingle rushed up her finger.
"Grandma! The spinach is glowing!" Lily called, dropping her basket.
Her grandmother smiled mysteriously. "Ah, you've discovered the secret. This garden grows lightning vegetables – but only for those with brave hearts."
Just then, dark clouds gathered overhead. A storm was coming fast. Lily noticed something alarming – a thick black **cable** snaked through the garden fence, draining away the garden's magic into a machine that looked like a giant vacuum cleaner.
"The Storm Snatcher!" gasped Grandma. "It steals our garden's magic to create terrible weather all over the world. We have to stop it!"
Lily knew what she had to do. She started **running** toward the machine, her heart pounding. The spinach leaves in her pocket grew brighter with every step.
Suddenly, a massive bolt of **lightning** split the sky – but it wasn't scary anymore. Lily understood! The garden's magic could control weather, not create storms. Someone was using the machine for wrong reasons.
She reached the machine and pressed the sparkling spinach leaf against the cable. ZAP! The magic flowed backward, filling the garden with light. The machine whirred, smoked, and shut down forever.
The storm clouds vanished, revealing a beautiful rainbow.
"You saved the garden, Lily!" Grandma hugged her tight. "And you learned the most important lesson – magic is meant to help others, never to harm."
That night, they made the most delicious spinach salad. Every bite made Lily feel brave inside, knowing she had protected something special.
From that day on, Lily visited the garden every day. And whenever she saw lightning, she smiled – because she knew real power comes from a kind heart, not from machines that take what isn't theirs.
