The Lightning Garden
Lily loved visiting her grandmother's garden, especially during summer storms. One evening, as lightning flashed across the dark sky, she noticed something strange near the old papaya tree. A tiny goldfish was swimming through the air like it was water!
"Hello there!" Lily whispered, amazed.
The goldfish sparkled with golden scales and spoke in a bubbly voice. "I'm Finn! I only come out during lightning storms. The magical electricity lets me swim through the air!"
Lily giggled as Finn did flips and spins. "But aren't you hungry?"
Finn's tummy rumbled. "Very! I love fresh spinach leaves from Grandma's garden."
Lily ran to the vegetable patch and returned with a big spinach leaf. Finn nibbled it happily, his scales glowing brighter with each bite.
"Thank you!" Finn said. "Now I can show you something special!" He swam toward a thick cable running along the garden fence—the same cable Lily had always wondered about.
"What's that cable for?" she asked.
"It's a magical cable that connects our world to the Dream Kingdom!" Finn explained. "Come see!"
Lily followed Finn along the cable until it disappeared into a rainbow archway. On the other side was an enchanted land where papaya trees grew糖果 canes, and rivers flowed with sparkling juice.
Finn showed her everything—the singing flowers, the dancing butterflies, and the friendly creatures who lived there. "This place exists because children believe in magic," Finn said.
As the storm passed and the lightning faded, Finn grew transparent. "I must go now," he said sadly.
"Will I ever see you again?" Lily asked.
"Whenever lightning strikes, look for me near the papaya tree. And remember," Finn whispered, "magic lives wherever you believe in it."
Lily hugged him gently, and with a final sparkle, Finn disappeared. She returned through the rainbow archway, clutching a perfect papaya he'd given her—a reminder that magic is real, friendship is precious, and wonder lives everywhere, even in a garden during a storm.
