The Lightning Garden
Oliver loved his backyard garden, but lately the vegetables looked sad. The tomatoes drooped, and the carrots refused to grow. One stormy evening, he peered through his window as lightning flashed across the sky.
To his surprise, Oliver noticed something glowing in the garden—his old iPhone, which he'd left outside on the garden bench! As lightning struck again, the phone's screen lit up with a message: "The spring needs help. Follow the water."
Curious and brave, Oliver grabbed his yellow raincoat and rushed outside. Rain poured down as water collected in little rivers across the yard. The iPhone guided him toward the old stone well behind the oak tree.
Peering inside, Oliver discovered a tiny water sprite named Splash! The sprite was trapped because a vine of overgrown spinach had blocked the spring's flow.
"Can you help me?" Splash asked in a voice like babbling brooks. "The spinach grew too wild because nobody tended this magical spring. Now the water can't flow!"
Oliver carefully pulled away the spinach leaves, revealing sparkling blue water beneath. As the spring began to flow again, lightning flashed one final time, and Splash grew to her full size—a beautiful creature made of shimmering water droplets.
"Thank you, Oliver!" Splash sang, dancing in the rain. "As a reward, I'll make your garden the most magical in town!"
She sprinkled enchanted water over Oliver's garden. Within days, the tomatoes grew big and red, the carrots became enormous, and the strangest thing happened—the spinach tasted like chocolate!
Oliver learned that even old things (like his iPhone) and small acts of kindness (like freeing a stuck sprite) can create wonderful magic. Every stormy night, he still checks his phone, wondering where his next adventure with Splash might lead.
