The Lightning Game

Lily loved to spy on the magical creatures in Whispering Woods. Every afternoon, she would hide behind the old oak tree and watch them play. The fairies danced with fireflies. The squirrels gathered acorns that sparkled like tiny stars.

One day, a great brown bear spotted her. But instead of growling, he waved! "Hello, little spy," said Barnaby the bear kindly. "Would you like to join our game?"

Lily's eyes widened. The animals were playing padel—a magical game with glowing rackets that hovered in the air. When they hit the floating ball, it made wonderful chimes like wind chimes in a storm.

Suddenly, a gentle bull with golden horns trotted from the forest. His name was Bruno, and he looked sad.

"What's wrong?" Lily asked.

"A terrible storm trapped my family across the river," Bruno said. "The bridge is broken."

Barnaby smiled. "We can help! Lily, grab a magic padel racket!"

The bear taught her how to hit the ball into the sky. Each strike sent up a spark of lightning—bright and beautiful, not scary at all. The lightning bolts danced together until they formed a sparkling bridge of light across the river.

Bruno's family crossed safely, and the bridge faded into stars. From that day on, Lily learned that magic wasn't just for spying—it was for helping friends in need. And every afternoon, she played padel with Barnaby, Bruno, and all the magical creatures of Whispering Woods, making lightning bridges whenever someone needed a friend.
