The Lightning Cat's Gift

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy afternoon, she found something strange - an old iPhone that didn't look like any phone she'd seen before. It had a sparkly rainbow case and buttons that glowed.

Curious, Lily pressed the biggest button. Suddenly, a tiny orange cat with electric blue eyes popped out of the screen like a hologram come to life! The cat zoomed around the room, trailing sparkles like lightning bolts.

"I'm ZAP!" the cat announced, doing flips in mid-air. "I'm a Vitamin Cat - I give kids the courage they need!"

Lily's eyes widened. "Vitamin Cat?"

Zap landed gently on her shoulder. "Yes! Every time someone feels scared, I appear. My lightning whiskers shoot confidence right into your heart!"

Lily smiled. She'd been nervous about her school presentation all week. "I have to speak in front of my whole class tomorrow. What if I mess up?"

The little cat purred softly. His lightning whiskers began to glow warm and golden. "Watch this!" He touched his nose to Lily's forehead, and she felt a tingly warmth spread through her - like drinking sunshine.

Suddenly, Lily remembered all her hard work. She knew her speech perfectly. The fear melted away like snow in spring.

"Thank you, Zap!" she hugged the magical cat, who was already fading back into the iPhone's screen. "Come back anytime!"

"I will!" Zap promised. "Remember, courage isn't about not being scared. It's about being scared and doing brave things anyway!"

The next day, Lily stood before her class, took a deep breath, and began. She spoke clearly and confidently. When she finished, everyone clapped.

That night, Lily kept the special iPhone close. She knew that whenever she needed a little extra courage, her lightning cat friend would be there.
