The Lightning Bull's Secret
Lily loved lying on the soft grass, watching clouds turn into magical shapes—castles, dragons, and sometimes even ice cream cones. One warm summer afternoon, while running through her backyard with bare feet, she spotted something extraordinary. A magnificent white bull with shimmering golden horns was prancing across the clouds!
'I must be a cloud spy!' Lily whispered, pressing her finger to her lips as if guarding a wonderful secret. She grabbed her favorite rainbow kite and climbed to the top of the grassy hill behind her house. The wind tugged at her kite, pulling it higher and higher until—WHOOSH!—Lily lifted right off the ground!
Up she floated, past surprised birds and fluttering butterflies, until she landed gently on a fluffy pink cloud. The lightning bull appeared, his white coat sparkling like tiny stars. 'I'm Thunder,' the bull rumbled softly, his voice sounding like distant gentle drums. 'I paint the lightning storms with my golden horns.'
Lily's best friend Theo had followed her sparkling kite trail and landed beside her, eyes wide with wonder. 'Wow!' Theo gasped, bouncing on the bouncy cloud. 'Can we help too?' Thunder nodded his magnificent head.
Together, the children and the magical bull sketched brilliant lightning bolts across the twilight sky—purple, pink, and gold. Each bolt danced like ribbon in the wind, creating the most beautiful storm anyone had ever seen.
'Being a cloud spy is amazing!' Lily laughed, spinning with joy. But Thunder taught them something important that evening: 'True friends share wonders together, they don't just spy on them from far away.'
That night, Lily and Theo watched the most beautiful lightning storm from their bedroom windows, knowing their friend Thunder had created it just for them to enjoy together. And from then on, they never spied on magic—they joined it.
