The Lightning Bull's Secret

Lila loved stormy days. While other children hid inside when thunder rumbled, she pressed her nose against the window, watching the sky dance with flashes of light. One particularly fierce afternoon, curiosity pulled her outside despite her mother's warnings.

In the meadow behind her farmhouse, Lila saw something extraordinary. A magnificent bull stood beside the pond, his coat shimmering like polished silver. But this wasn't an ordinary bull—lightning crackled around his horns in tiny, harmless sparks, and his hooves left glowing prints in the grass.

"You're not scared of storms?" Lila whispered, stepping closer.

The bull lowered his massive head, and to her amazement, he spoke. "I am the Storm Bull, child. Lightning is my friend, not my enemy."

Lila's eyes widened. "But lightning is dangerous!"

"Only when misunderstood," the Storm Bull replied gently. "Watch." He touched his horn to the surface of the pond. Where a regular bull would have splashed muddy water, this bull's touch sent ripples of pure, glowing water spreading outward. The ripples transformed into tiny lightning bolts that danced on the surface, creating a magical light show.

"Beautiful!" Lila gasped.

"Would you like to see something wondrous?" The bull lowered himself so she could climb onto his broad back. "Hold tight to my horns."

They began running—faster than any horse, faster than the wind! As they galloped across the meadow, lightning bolts arced from the bull's horns, painting the stormy sky with brilliant colors. Rain fell around them, but each drop transformed into a tiny jewel before touching Lila's skin.

They raced through the storm together, Lila laughing with pure joy, until the clouds finally parted. The Storm Bull slowed to a stop, his silver coat glowing softer now in the emerging sunlight.

"Thank you," Lila hugged his powerful neck. "I'll never be afraid of storms again."

"And remember," the Storm Bull nudged her gently, "things that seem scary might just be misunderstood. Even the fiercest lightning can create something beautiful."

As he disappeared into the fading clouds, Lila ran home with a secret smile, knowing that whenever storms came, she had a magical friend in the sky.
