The Lightning Bull's Secret
Maya loved thunderstorms. When the sky turned dark and rumbling shook her windows, she pressed her nose against the glass, waiting for the magic to begin.
One rainy evening, lightning flashed across the sky like a glowing crack in the universe. But this time, something strange happened. The bolt didn't just fade away—it took shape! A glowing outline appeared in the clouds, forming the shape of a giant pyramid floating in the storm.
Maya rubbed her eyes. Was she dreaming?
Then came another flash of lightning, and suddenly a magnificent bull made of crackling blue light stood beside the glowing pyramid. Its horns were made of electricity, its eyes were like miniature stars.
"Come closer, young friend," the Lightning Bull spoke, its voice sounding like distant thunder.
Maya opened her window. The bull's lightning coat didn't shock her—it felt warm, like sunshine.
"Our pyramid holds something precious," the bull explained. "But only someone with a brave heart can enter."
Inside the floating pyramid, Maya discovered a garden where flowers grew upside down from the ceiling and butterflies left trails of sparkles. At the center stood a crystal prism glowing with rainbow light.
"This is the Courage Crystal," said the bull. "It makes brave people braver, kind people kinder, and dream people dream bigger."
Maya thought of her friend Leo, who was afraid to speak in class even though he had wonderful ideas. "Leo needs this more than me."
The Lightning Bull nodded, its electric horns glowing softer. "That's why you were chosen, Maya. True courage isn't never being scared—it's helping others find their brave."
That night, Maya returned with a tiny prism for Leo. In class the next day, when lightning flickered in the distance, Leo raised his hand and shared his idea.
And somewhere far away, a bull made of lightning winked from the clouds.
