The Lightning Bull's Secret

orangelightningbull

Leo lived beside an orange grove that smelled like sunshine and sweetness. Every morning, he helped his grandmother pick the round, glowing fruits that made the most delicious juice in the valley.

One stormy afternoon, while Leo gathered the last oranges before rain fell, he saw something extraordinary. A massive bull stood between the trees—not ordinary, but shimmering with an unusual golden glow. His eyes were kind, twinkling like stars.

"Please don't tell anyone," whispered the bull, and Leo almost dropped his basket of oranges in surprise. The bull could talk!

"I'm Benjamin," the bull explained gently. "During lightning storms, I protect these orange trees. The lightning gives them magic—the juice from these oranges brings happy dreams to children who drink it."

Leo's eyes widened. All this time, he'd thought the sweet taste was just because his grandmother tended the trees with love.

Suddenly, the sky flashed white. Lightning streaked across the dark clouds, and Benjamin's golden fur sparkled even brighter. He raised his mighty horns, catching the lightning's energy and directing it gently into the orange grove. The trees pulsed with soft light, absorbing the magic.

"You can help me," Benjamin said kindly. "Hold this orange while I catch the lightning."

Trembling but brave, Leo held out his biggest orange. Benjamin guided a tiny spark of lightning into it, and the fruit glowed warm and bright, filling Leo's hands with tingling energy.

"Tonight," Benjamin promised, "this orange will bring sweet dreams to someone who needs them. Would you like to deliver it?"

Leo nodded, feeling proud. The lightning bull had chosen him to share magic with the world.

That evening, Leo gave the glowing orange to his little sister Mia, who had been having scary nightmares. She drank the juice and smiled, her eyes peaceful.

"I dreamed about flying," she said the next morning. "And I wasn't afraid at all."

Leo winked at his grandmother and glanced at the orange grove, where Benjamin the lightning bull stood guard, ready for the next storm.
