The Lightning Bull's Secret
Max loved visiting his grandfather's farm, especially during summer storms. One evening, as thunder rumbled across the sky, he sat on the porch watching his grandfather's old **iphone**—kept for emergencies—flicker with an incoming call.
"Strange," Grandpa said. "That phone hasn't worked in years."
Suddenly, **lightning** struck the old oak tree in the pasture. The iPhone screen lit up with brilliant colors, showing a glowing path leading to the farm's **pool**.
"What is that?" Max whispered.
Grandpa's eyes twinkled. "That, my boy, is magic. But only the brave can follow where it leads."
Max grabbed his raincoat and ran outside. Rain poured down as lightning illuminated his way. Near the pool, he saw something extraordinary—a massive **bull** with fur that shimmered like starlight, standing guard beside a single papaya tree that glowed with inner light.
The bull spoke in a voice like gentle thunder. "You've found the secret pool. Many have searched, but only those with pure hearts may enter."
Max's heart pounded. "Who are you?"
"I am Barnaby, keeper of the magical **papaya** that grants wishes to those who deserve them," the bull said. "But I've been lonely for three hundred years. Will you be my friend?"
Max smiled. "I'd love to be your friend, Barnaby!"
The bull's eyes filled with joyful tears. As Max stepped closer, the pool's waters swirled with rainbow colors. A perfect papaya fell into Max's hands, warm and glowing.
"Make your wish," Barnaby said softly.
Max didn't wish for toys or adventures. "I wish that you, Barnaby, will never be lonely again."
The papaya burst into a thousand golden butterflies that filled the sky. Lightning transformed into sparkling confetti. Barnaby's fur turned from starlight to sunlight, and the pool became a doorway to a magical realm where children and animals played together forever.
"Thank you, Max," Barnaby nuzzled Max's cheek. "You've taught me that the best magic isn't in wishes—it's in friendship."
Every summer storm after that, Max would visit his friend Barnaby. And whenever he saw lightning flash across the sky, he knew magic was real, especially when shared with friends.
