The Lightning Bull's Magic Vitamin

Every afternoon after school, Maya would spy through her telescope at the old farm beyond the hill. She loved watching the animals, especially the great golden bull who always stood by the oak tree, even during storms.

One rainy afternoon, Maya grabbed her favorite baseball from her shelf. She wanted to practice her throwing indoors. But just as she wound up to pitch, a crack of lightning flashed outside her window!

Suddenly, something amazing happened. The lightning bolt streaked straight toward the farm and hit the old oak tree. When Maya looked through her telescope again, she gasped. The great bull was glowing with a soft golden light!

Maya knew she had to investigate. She grabbed her raincoat and her baseball — somehow it felt warm in her hands, like it was magic too — and ran to the farm.

The golden bull watched her approach with kind eyes. When Maya got close, the bull spoke in a deep rumbly voice: "You have something that belongs to the storm. The lightning blessed your baseball."

"What should I do?" Maya asked, trembling with excitement.

"Take this," the bull said, nudging something shiny with his nose. It was a strange glowing vitamin capsule. "Eat this, and you'll understand."

Maya trusted the kind bull. She swallowed the magic vitamin, and suddenly she could see beautiful colored lights swirling around everything! The bull's golden glow came from his heart — he was the guardian of the farm's magic.

"Every lightning storm," the bull explained, "the sky chooses someone special to help protect the farm's magic. Today, that someone is you."

Maya spent the whole afternoon learning from the bull. She discovered that her baseball could channel lightning into protective spells that kept the farm animals safe from storms.

From that day on, Maya wasn't just a curious kid who liked to spy on things. She was the Lightning Farm's newest guardian, with a golden bull as her best friend and a magic baseball that could turn any storm into something beautiful.
