The Lightning Bull's Golden Friend

In a cozy orange house at the edge of Meadow Valley lived a curious girl named Penny. Every evening, she would visit the old pond behind her house to watch the goldfish swim in circles. They were like tiny living jewels, shimmering in the fading light.

One stormy afternoon, Penny noticed something extraordinary. A magnificent bull with fur the color of ripe oranges stood near the pond. His horns glowed with strange energy, and whenever he snorted, tiny bolts of lightning danced between them. Penny had never seen a lightning bull before!

The goldfish gathered near the surface, watching the bull with wide eyes. To Penny's surprise, the bull lowered his giant head and spoke in a voice like distant thunder. "Hello, little friends. I am Buster, and I bring the storm's magic."

Penny hid behind an old oak tree, her heart racing with wonder. Buster continued, "I've traveled far from the Cloud Kingdom, but I'm terribly lonely up there. Down here, I have someone to talk to." He gently dipped his nose into the pond, creating ripples that sparkled like diamonds.

The goldfish swam in joyful patterns around his reflection. They weren't afraid at all! Penny stepped out from her hiding spot. "Mr. Buster? Would you like to be my friend too?"

The bull's eyes lit up with delight, sending tiny lightning bolts shooting harmlessly into the sky like fireworks. "I would love that! But I must warn you—I sometimes make accidental thunder when I'm happy."

"That's perfect!" Penny laughed. "I've always wanted a friend who could light up the night."

From that day on, every evening after school, Penny would visit Buster and the goldfish. When she felt scared of the dark, Buster's gentle lightning would illuminate her path home. When the goldfish seemed lonely, Penny would sing to them while Buster provided a beautiful light show.

Penny learned that friends come in all shapes and sizes—even lightning bulls with golden fish friends. And whenever she sees orange clouds at sunset, she knows Buster is painting the sky just for her, reminding her that the most magical friendships are the ones we never expected to find.
