The Lightning Bull's Gift

Maya lived in a small house at the edge of the world, where the sky met the sea. Every evening, she would sit beneath her favorite **palm** tree, listening to the waves sing their ancient songs.

One night, a terrible storm swept across the ocean. **Lightning** danced across the dark sky like golden ribbons, and thunder rumbled like a giant's tummy. Maya watched from her window, safe and warm.

But then she saw something impossible. A great creature stood in the storm—a massive white **bull** with horns that glowed like captured stars. He stood strong against the howling wind, his feet planted firmly in the sand.

Maya's heart knew she had to help. She grabbed her yellow raincoat and rushed outside.

"Are you lost?" she called through the storm.

The bull turned his massive head. His eyes were kind and ancient, full of secrets older than the moon. He didn't speak with words, but Maya understood anyway. He wasn't lost. He was waiting.

The bull lowered his head, and Maya saw something strange—his fur was marked with tiny lightning bolts, just like the ones in the sky. He was the Lightning Bull, guardian of storms!

Suddenly, a branch from Maya's beloved palm tree broke and fell toward her. The bull leaped forward, shielding her with his massive body. The branch bounced harmlessly off his shimmering coat.

Maya reached out and pressed her small palm against his shoulder. "Thank you," she whispered.

In that moment, something magical happened. The storm around them softened. The lightning turned from angry gold to gentle purple. The bull's eyes twinkled.

Maya discovered something wonderful that night. She had a gift—when she was brave and kind, she could calm storms. And the Lightning Bull became her forever friend, appearing whenever the sky grew dark to remind her that even the scariest storms can be faced with courage in your heart.

Now, every time Maya sees lightning, she waves her palm, and somewhere out there, her friend the bull waves back, his starry horns shining bright.
