The Lightning Bull of Palm Tree Peak

Leo hated spinach more than anything in the world. "Do I have to eat it?" he asked his grandmother every single day.

But everything changed on the day Leo lost his padel ball over the garden wall. He climbed over to find it and discovered a hidden path he'd never seen before. Curious, he followed it through a forest of towering palm trees until he reached a clearing at the very peak.

There, sitting calmly beneath the largest palm tree, was the most magnificent bull Leo had ever seen. Its fur shimmered with streaks of silver and gold, and tiny bolts of lightning danced between its horns.

"You found my padel ball!" Leo exclaimed, reaching for it.

The bull spoke in a deep, gentle voice. "Ah, yes. Would you like to play a game? The winner gets something magical."

Leo had never played against a bull before, but this one moved with surprising grace. Its massive hooves barely made a sound as it dashed across the grass. With every hit, sparks flew from the ball like tiny fireworks.

"You're very good," Leo panted, sweating as they played.

"I've had thousands of years to practice," the bull replied with a twinkle in its eye. "But you play with joy. That matters more."

When the game ended, the bull nodded toward a patch of emerald leaves growing at the base of the palm tree. "Your prize. These are lightning spinach leaves - one bite will let you fly for one whole hour."

Leo's eyes widened. "Spinach that makes you fly? But I hate spinach!"

The bull chuckled, and thunder rumbled softly overhead. "Sometimes the things we think we hate are exactly what we need. Just try one bite - but be home before the magic fades."

Leo took a small bite. Instantly, his feet lifted off the ground! He soared above the palm trees, dancing with clouds as lightning bugs twinkled around him like tiny stars.

"Thank you!" Leo called down as he began his flight home.

"Come back anytime," the bull replied. "And perhaps next time, you won't be so quick to judge things you haven't tried."

That evening, Leo ate every bite of his spinach at dinner, wondering if it might have just a little bit of magic too. And it did - the magic of being brave enough to try something new.
