The Lightning Bear's Gift

Lily loved visiting her grandmother's house by the ocean. Every summer, she'd collect seashells along the sandy beach and dream of magical creatures. But she never expected to meet one.

One stormy evening, as lightning flashed across the purple sky, Lily saw something moving near the old palm tree at the edge of the yard. A large, friendly bear with fur that sparkled like tiny stars was sitting there, watching the storm.

"Hello," Lily whispered, approaching slowly. "Are you real?"

The bear nodded and smiled. "I'm Luna, the Lightning Bear. I collect magic from storms and share it with children who believe in wonder."

Lily gasped. "That's amazing! But why are you here?"

Luna's eyes twinkled. "I need your help. My lightning jar is empty, and tonight's storm has special magic — the kind that makes dreams come true. But I'm too big to climb the palm tree to catch the lightning bolts."

"I can help!" Lily cried. She shimmied up the palm tree, holding out grandmother's old glass jar. The lightning flashed, and she caught three shimmering bolts before safely climbing back down.

"Thank you!" Luna said, wrapping Lily in a warm hug that felt like sunshine. "For your kindness, I have a gift. The lightning magic can grant one wish."

Lily thought carefully. She could wish for anything — toys, candy, adventures. But then she remembered her grandmother, who missed seeing pictures of Lily's baby brother.

"Can my iPhone take magical pictures that show how much we love each other?" Lily asked.

Luna touched the phone with her paw, and it glowed with soft golden light. "Now every photo you take will capture love itself."

Lily rushed inside to snap a picture of her grandmother holding baby brother Tommy. When she showed it, tears of joy filled her grandmother's eyes.

"I can feel the love in this picture," she whispered.

Outside, Lily waved to Luna, who was already fading into the clouds like a beautiful dream. But the magical photos remained, reminding everyone that the best magic of all is love shared between family and friends.
