The iPhone That Loved Lightning

Lily's old iPhone sat forgotten in a drawer until the night of the great storm. Lightning flashed across the sky like nature's fireworks, and something magical happened. The iPhone flickered to life, not with its usual screen, but with a tiny glowing face.

"I've been waiting for this storm!" chirped the iPhone, now named Flash by Lily. "Lightning gives me magic powers!"

That same night, a small bear cub named Berry wandered from her mother, lost in the woods. The storm frightened her, and she huddled under a bush, shivering.

Lily, cradling Flash in her hands, ventured into the rainy backyard. Flash glowed brighter with each lightning bolt, guiding Lily with a warm, pulsing light toward the woods.

"Someone needs help," Flash said urgently. "I can feel it."

Under the bush, they found Berry, wet and scared. Lily wrapped the cub in her yellow raincoat, while Flash used his magical light to warm them both.

"I was looking for honey," Berry sniffled, "but the storm scared me."

Mother Bear appeared through the trees, relieved to find her cub safe. She thanked Lily with a gentle nuzzle, then did something surprising—she nudged Flash too.

"You helped my baby," Mother Bear seemed to say without words. "Even though you are made of metal and glass, your heart shines brightest of all."

Flash glowed so brightly that he lit up the whole forest, creating a path for Lily to return home safely. The iPhone had learned that while technology could be wonderful, nothing was more powerful than kindness and friendship.

From that night on, Flash never needed charging again. He seemed to absorb energy from lightning storms, and every summer solstice, Lily would visit Berry and her mother in the woods, bringing Flash along to light their celebration of the magical night they all became friends forever.
