The iPhone That Could Breathe Underwater
Lily loved spending summer days at the old swimming hole behind her house. The water was crystal clear, perfect for swimming, and she knew every hidden corner of its sandy bottom.
One afternoon, while splashing around, Lily spotted something shiny half-buried in the sand. She dove down and pulled up a mysterious iPhone with a rainbow-colored case. Unlike any phone she'd ever seen, this one sparkled like it had tiny stars trapped inside.
"Weird," Lily said, shaking water from her ears. "Who would leave a phone here?"
That night, under her blanket with a flashlight, Lily discovered the iPhone's secret. When she swiped the screen, it didn't show apps or games—it showed live video of an underwater kingdom! Tiny merfolk with shimmering tails tended to coral gardens. Seahorses the size of ponies galloped through kelp forests. Best of all, the screen showed these magical creatures right in her favorite swimming spot!
The next morning, Lily raced to the swimming hole. The iPhone's screen glowed warmer as she approached the water. A message appeared: "HELP US! The Great Pollution is coming!"
Without hesitating, Lily dove into the cool water. Amazingly, the iPhone worked perfectly underwater! Its light guided her through the murkiness to a hidden cave where discarded bottles and cans were blocking the merfolk's enchanted spring.
Lily spent the whole day removing the trash, her iPhone lighting the way and beaming encouragement from her new magical friends. By sunset, the water sparkled again, and the merfolk danced with joy.
"Thank you, Land Friend!" the mermaid queen sang, her voice like bells. "You saved our home!"
Lily's iPhone gave one final sparkle—then showed a regular home screen. But every time she went swimming, tiny bubbles of thanks would rise to greet her.
Some phones just make calls. But the best ones help you make friends—even ones with tails.
