The iPhone's Secret Portal

Lily loved her old iPhone. It didn't have service anymore, but Grandma said it held magic secrets. One rainy afternoon, Lily found something strange — a golden cable tangled in her toy box that glowed when she touched it.

"What are you?" she whispered, and the cable wiggled like a friendly snake.

Curious, Lily plugged one end into her iPhone. Suddenly, the screen shimmered with swirling stars! A sphinx's face appeared, with kind eyes and a mysterious smile.

"Hello, brave explorer," the Sphinx rumbled gently. "I've been waiting for someone with an imagination as big as yours."

Lily's room dissolved into golden light. When she opened her eyes, she stood before a magnificent pyramid of crystal that sparkled like captured sunshine. The Sphinx sat beside her, massive but somehow gentle.

"Inside lies the Treasure of Courage," the Sphinx explained. "But first, you must answer one question: What is the strongest thing in the world?"

Lily thought hard. Was it elephants? Hurricanes? Mountains? Then she remembered her little brother, who cried when he got hurt but still tried to ride his bike. She thought of her mom, who worked two jobs but always had hugs to give.

"Love," Lily said confidently. "And kindness. They make people brave even when they're scared."

The crystal pyramid's doors swung open, revealing not gold or jewels, but a magnificent bull made entirely of starlight. Its constellation markings glowed softly.

"I am Taurus, guardian of brave hearts," the Star Bull said. "Your answer proves you understand true strength."

The Bull lowered its head, and Lily climbed onto its back. Together they soared through constellations, past comets, and over nebulae. The Sphinx's laughter echoed like gentle thunder.

When Lily woke up on her bedroom floor, the golden cable had vanished. But her iPhone now showed a new background — a drawing of a pyramid, a sphinx, and a star bull. And she felt different, too. Braver. Kinder.

From then on, whenever Lily needed courage, she'd remember: the strongest magic doesn't come from phones or cables or even mysterious portals. It comes from inside, powered by love and kindness, and it's always there whenever you need it.

Sometimes, on clear nights, Lily would spot Taurus the Bull in the sky and wink. The stars would twinkle back, as if to say: "Remember, adventurer — magic is real, and it lives in you."
