The iPhone's Secret Ocean

Lily found the old iPhone buried in her grandmother's attic, tucked inside a wooden chest filled with sea glass and mermaid figurines. The screen was cracked, but when she pressed the home button, it glowed with magical blue light.

"What are you showing me?" Lily whispered, watching as images swirled across the screen like underwater dreams.

Suddenly, a face appeared—a green zombie with friendly purple eyes and a crooked smile. He looked sad, floating alone in what looked like an endless ocean.

"Help me," the zombie said through tinny speakers. "I'm stuck in the digital sea."

Lily's heart pounded. Her grandmother had always said their old swimming pool was magical—a portal to other worlds. She grabbed the iPhone and rushed outside, diving into the cool blue water.

"Take me with you!" the zombie called from the screen.

Lily held the iPhone above her head as she swam deeper and deeper. The water sparkled with tiny silver bubbles, and suddenly she wasn't in her pool anymore. She was floating in a vast, glowing ocean where colorful fish made of light swam around her.

The zombie appeared beside her, no longer trapped in the screen. He was still green, but his purple eyes twinkled like stars.

"Thank you for rescuing me," he said. "I'm Zed, and I've been lonely for so long."

"You're not scary at all," Lily said, realizing she had judged him by his appearance.

Zed smiled. "The digital world can be cold. Will you be my friend?"

Lily took his webbed hand. "Always."

They swam together through galaxies of bioluminescent jellyfish and played tag with schools of rainbow fish. When it was time to go home, Zed gave Lily a magical shell that would let her visit anytime.

Back in her room, Lily placed the shell on her nightstand, already planning tomorrow's adventure. She learned that true friends can be found anywhere—even where you least expect them—and that kindness is the strongest magic of all.
