The iPhone's Magic Secret

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. Rain pattered on the roof as she rummaged through dusty boxes filled with treasures from long ago.

"What's this?" she whispered, pulling out a small rectangular object. It was unlike anything she'd seen before — smooth, shiny, and black.

"That's an old iPhone," Grandma said, smiling from the doorway. "People used them to talk to each other and play games. But this one's special. It hasn't worked for fifty years."

Lily ran her fingers over the smooth surface. Something about it felt... magical. Like it was waiting for the right person.

That afternoon, Lily sat by the pond in her garden, watching dragonflies dance over the water. She held the iPhone, wondering what secrets it held. Maybe if she cleaned it?

Splash! The iPhone slipped from her fingers and sank into the murky water.

"No!" Lily cried, reaching in. But instead of feeling cold water, her hand touched something warm and glowing.

The pond began to bubble. Golden light swirled around her. Suddenly, the water parted, revealing a magnificent pyramid rising from the depths. Its crystal sides sparkled like diamonds in the sunlight.

Inside, Lily found a tiny boy made entirely of blue light. "I've been waiting for you," he said. "The iPhone is a key to our world. Only someone with a pure heart can unlock it."

"Who are you?" Lily asked.

"I'm Milo, guardian of the Water Pyramid. We've been trapped for a hundred years. People forgot how to use their imaginations. They stopped believing in magic."

Lily's heart swelled. "I believe in magic. Every day."

Milo smiled, and the pyramid began to glow brighter. "Then you'll help us remember. Will you be our friend?"

"Yes!" Lily said without hesitation.

Together, they filled the world with wonder again. Every time Lily used her imagination — drawing dragons, building fairy houses, dreaming of adventures — the Water Pyramid shone brighter. And though no one else could see Milo, Lily knew he was always there, her magical friend who taught her that the greatest magic lives in kindness and a brave heart.

Sometimes, the most wonderful discoveries come when you least expect them — even from something old and forgotten at the bottom of a pond.
