The iPhone Portal to Wonder

Lily discovered her dad's old iPhone hidden in the attic drawer, but this wasn't just any phone—it shimmered with a strange golden glow. When she touched the screen, ripples spread across it like water, and suddenly she was pulled inside!

She landed in a meadow where the grass sparkled like tiny emeralds. A large orange goldfish with rainbow scales swam through the air beside her. "I'm Finnigan," the fish bubbled happily. "You've arrived just in time! My friend needs your help."

Finnigan led Lily through a forest where trees had leaves of silver and bark like chocolate. In a cozy cave, they found a friendly bear named Bernard, who was crying pear-shaped tears.

"What's wrong?" Lily asked, patting his giant fuzzy paw.

Bernard sniffled. "My little brother is sick. The only cure is the Sunrise Orange from the Magic Garden, but I'm too big to fit through the tiny gate."

Lily's eyes lit up. "I can help!"

The three friends set off together. When they reached the Magic Garden, Lily squeezed through the small wooden gate. Inside, flowers sang soft lullabies, and butterflies left trails of glitter. There, glowing softly on a silver bush, hung the perfect orange—warm and bright like captured sunshine.

But a mischievous squirrel darted past and knocked it to the ground! The orange began rolling toward a deep pond.

"No!" Bernard called from outside.

Lily jumped, stretching her arms. The orange almost slipped away when she remembered something her dad always said: "Sometimes the best help comes from working together."

"Finnigan!" she called. The goldfish swooped down, using his tail like a hockey stick to redirect the orange right into Lily's hands.

The juice from the Sunrise Orange cured Bernard's little brother overnight. The three friends celebrated with a feast of honey cakes and stories under starlight that actually twinkled back at them.

When Lily touched the iPhone screen again to return home, Bernard whispered, "True friendship fits through any door."

Back in her room, Lily hugged the now-ordinary phone tightly. Some adventures were too wonderful to keep to herself—and tomorrow, she would tell her dad that his old phone was actually magical.
