The Hungry Zombie's Papaya Party
Lily discovered something magical in her dad's old iphone. When she pressed the purple button, the screen shimmered like rainbow sprinkles, and suddenly she could see creatures no one else could see!
One afternoon, while running through the park with her friends, Lily spotted a green figure sitting sadly under a giant oak tree. It looked like a zombie from story books, but instead of being scary, this zombie had floppy rainbow hair and the biggest, most worried eyes Lily had ever seen.
"What's wrong?" Lily asked, kneeling beside the gentle creature.
The zombie sniffled. "I'm Zimm. I lost my sparkle because I haven't had my morning vitamin boost. Without it, I feel all wobbly and gray."
Lily gasped. Her grandma always said vitamins gave people superpowers! "I can help! My grandma grows magic papayas in her garden. They're FULL of energy vitamins!"
Zimm's eyes grew wide as dinner plates. "Papaya? That's my favorite! But it's all the way across the Whispering Woods..."
"Then we'd better start running!" Lily grabbed Zimm's hand, which was soft and warm like a freshly baked cookie.
Together they raced through the forest. Zimm's rainbow hair streamed behind them like confetti in the wind. They jumped over giggling brooks and dodged dancing fireflies. Every step made Zimm a little brighter.
At Grandma's garden, the biggest, sunniest papaya waited for them. When Zimm took a bite—CRUNCH!—sparkles shot everywhere like mini fireworks! Zimm's gray skin turned shimmering gold, and energy burst from him like sunshine.
"Thank you, Lily!" Zimm cheered, bouncing like a rubber ball. "You showed me that true magic isn't just about vitamins—it's about helping friends!"
Lily grinned, pocketing the now-glowing iphone. She had discovered something better than any app: the magic of friendship and kindness could brighten anyone's day, even a zombie's.
