The Goldfish Who Knew Secrets
Luna loved playing padel on the sunny court behind her house. But today, something magical happened. As she hit the ball, it bounced into the garden pond with a splash!
Curious, Luna peeked into the water. A tiny goldfish with sparkly golden scales swam to the surface. But this was no ordinary goldfish.
"I'm Finn," the goldfish said, popping his head above water. "And I'm a spy for the Great Sphinx!"
Luna gasped. "A spy? But you're so small!"
"Size doesn't matter when you have courage," Finn said proudly. "The Sphinx sent me to find someone kind and brave. Are you ready for an adventure?"
Luna nodded eagerly. Finn told her to jump into the pond, which was now glowing with blue light. She took a deep breath and went swimming—right through a magical portal!
Suddenly, Luna was in an underwater kingdom filled with colorful coral and shimmering pearls. At the center sat the Great Sphinx, half-lion and half-human, with wise eyes that sparkled like stars.
"Welcome, young one," the Sphinx said. "Finn has been watching you. You always play fair, even when you lose at padel. That shows true character."
"Why did you send a goldfish to spy on me?" Luna asked.
"Because true friends come in all shapes and sizes," the Sphinx replied with a mysterious smile. "I needed someone who would judge others by their heart, not their appearance. Finn may be small, but he is the bravest spy in my kingdom."
Luna looked at Finn with new respect. "I'd be honored to be your friend."
The Sphinx smiled. "You have passed the real test. Kindness is the greatest magic of all."
That day, Luna learned that extraordinary friends can be found in the most ordinary places. And every time she played padel after that, she always waved to the pond, where her small but mighty friend would swim to the surface, ready for their next magical adventure together.
