The Goldfish Who Dreamed of the Sky

In a cozy blue bowl lived Bubbles, a tiny goldfish with shimmery orange scales. Every day, she swam in circles, watching the world through the glass. But Bubbles had a secret—she didn't dream of deeper waters. She dreamed of the sky.

Outside the window lived Barnaby, a scruffy golden dog with floppy ears and a nose that could smell magic. Every afternoon, Barnaby would press his wet nose against the glass, his tail wagging hello to the little fish.

Every day after that, the goldfish and the dog would meet by the orange ball. Barnaby would tell Bubbles about the world outside—about green grass, tall trees, and butterflies that danced in the wind. Bubbles would share stories of her underwater kingdom, where pebbles were jewels and castle was her castle.

Then came the day the family packed up to move. Bubbles' bowl was carefully placed in a box. Barnaby's ears drooped. But the child, remembering how much the dog loved that orange ball, placed it in the box too.

In their new home, Bubbles had a wonderful surprise—a pond in the backyard! And Barnaby could visit anytime he wanted. The orange ball became their special meeting place, rolling between water and grass, connecting two worlds.
