The Goldfish Who Dreamed of Running

In a cozy blue fishbowl on a high shelf lived Splash, a small goldfish with a very big dream. While most fish are happy just swimming around all day, Splash spent hours watching the children outside his window running, jumping, and playing.

'Oh, how I wish I could go running,' Splash sighed, blowing a tiny bubble that floated to the surface. 'Swimming is wonderful, but there must be more to the world than just my bowl.'

One morning, something magical happened. A thick black cable snaked up the bookshelf, carrying electricity to the old television below. But this was no ordinary cable—it was a magical电缆 that could grant wishes!

Suddenly, a little girl named Mia climbed onto a chair to adjust the TV. When she saw Splash staring sadly at her, she smiled. 'Hello, little friend. You look lonely.'

Mia had an idea. She carefully moved Splash's bowl closer to her window so he could see the garden outside. But she accidentally knocked over the bowl!

Splash found himself sliding across the table in his water. It felt just like running! For one magical moment, he was zooming along the wooden surface, his fins flopping wildly with joy.

Mia quickly scooped him up with a net and returned him to safety, breathless with excitement. 'I'm so sorry! Are you okay?' she asked, her eyes wide with worry.

But Splash was happier than ever. He did a happy flip, swimming circles around his bowl. He had finally experienced running, even if just for a moment.

From that day on, Mia visited Splash every day, telling him stories about the world outside his window. And Splash, the little goldfish who dreamed of running, discovered something even better than adventure—a true friend who made his small world feel enormous and full of magic.
