The Goldfish Who Dreamed of Running

In a shimmering blue pool behind Maria's house, there lived a tiny goldfish named Finn. Every day, he swam in circles around his plastic castle, but Finn had a big dream—he wanted to go running through the green grass like the children he watched playing outside.

One hot summer afternoon, Maria's older brother Leo told her a scary story about the Zombie Bull who lived in the old oak tree. "It comes out at night," Leo whispered, "and stomps around looking for brave adventurers!"

That night, Finn saw something glowing near the pool's edge. It was a magical dragonfly who sprinkled sparkling dust into the water. "One wish for the fish who dreams beyond his bowl," she chirped.

Finn wished to run.

Suddenly, he found himself on the pool's edge, no longer a goldfish but a small golden creature with two wobbly legs! He took his first running steps—wobble, wobble, stumble—and laughed with pure joy.

Then he heard it—THUMP, THUMP, THUMP. The Zombie Bull emerged from behind the oak tree. But it wasn't scary at all! The bull was made entirely of fallen leaves and twigs, held together by moonlight magic.

"I'm not scary," the bull rumbled gently. "I'm the Guardian of Imagination, and I've been waiting for someone brave enough to run with me."

Finn and the Zombie Bull ran through the garden, their hooves and fins leaving trails of golden sparkles. They danced under the stars until the dragonfly returned.

"The magic will fade at dawn," she said, "but remember this: dreams have power when you're brave enough to chase them."

As the sun rose, Finn was back in his pool, swimming happily. Maria came outside and noticed something strange—the grass had golden sparkles, and the leaves near the oak tree were arranged in the shape of running hooves.

"Your fish looks different today," Leo said, tilting his head. "He looks... happy."

Maria smiled, watching Finn swim in joyful patterns. Sometimes, she thought, the most wonderful adventures happen when you're brave enough to dream beyond your boundaries, just like a goldfish who believed he could run.
