The Goldfish's Secret Wish
Maya loved **baseball** more than anything. Every Saturday, she practiced hitting under the swaying **palm** trees near her house. One sunny afternoon, as she reached into her glove, something magical happened – a tiny **goldfish** was swimming right there in the leather pocket!
"How did you get here?" Maya whispered, her eyes wide with wonder.
The goldfish sparkled with rainbow colors. "I'm Finn," it bubbled. "I grant one special wish to kind-hearted children who love their dreams."
Maya's heart raced. She could wish for anything – a new bike, endless ice cream, or even to become a famous baseball player! But before she could speak, the ground rumbled. Behind the palm trees, a massive **bull** appeared.
Most children would run away, but Maya noticed something incredible – the bull's **hair** was made of flowing, colorful ribbons that shimmered like magic in the sunlight.
"I'm Bella," the bull said gently. "Finn's magic cannot work until you prove your heart is true. Will you help me?"
Maya nodded bravely.
Bella explained that she had lost her favorite rainbow ribbon in the old oak tree across the field. Other children had run away, frightened by her size. Maya wasn't scared at all. She climbed the tree, found the ribbon, and even braided it back into Bella's hair.
"Thank you," Bella said warmly. "You saw me with your heart, not just your eyes. That's the truest magic of all."
Finn the goldfish swam happily in Maya's glove. "Your wish is ready now!"
Maya thought carefully. "I wish that everyone could see the magic in others, just like I saw it in Bella."
The goldfish glowed brighter than a star. The palm trees swayed, sparkles filled the air, and Maya felt something wonderful – her heart had grown bigger, full of kindness and courage.
From that day on, whenever Maya played baseball, she noticed the magic in everyone around her. And sometimes, if she looked carefully, she'd see Finn shimmering in her glove, reminding her that the best wishes are the ones that help others.
Maya had discovered something more magical than any wish – true friendship sees with the heart, not just the eyes.
