The Goldfish's Secret Pyramid

Lily loved her hair. It was long and wavy and shimmered like moonlight. But she loved something even more—her tiny goldfish, Sparkle, who swam in circles in a glass bowl on her nightstand.

One stormy night, while lightning flashed across the sky, something strange happened. Each time the lightning crackled, Sparkle would glow brighter and brighter! Lily watched in amazement.

Suddenly, with a brilliant flash of lightning, Sparkle began to grow bigger and bigger! The glass bowl expanded with her until Sparkle was the size of a large dog, shimmering with golden scales.

"Lily!" Sparkle spoke in a bubbly voice. "The lightning has opened the portal! Come with me!"

Before Lily could answer, Sparkie's magic carried her out the window, soaring through the storm clouds until they reached—amazingly—a floating pyramid made entirely of light!

Inside the pyramid, rooms filled with swirling colors and sparkling crystals. "This is the Pyramid of Wonders," Sparkle explained. "Every hundred years, lightning magic opens the door for someone pure of heart."

Lily gasped with delight as she saw children from all over the world, each with their own magical companion. They played games with gravity, painted pictures that came alive, and made music by simply waving their hands.

But the most wonderful moment came when Sparkle whispered, "You're here because you love with your whole heart—not just me, but everything. You notice magic in ordinary places."

Lily understood then. The magic wasn't in the pyramid or the lightning. It was in seeing wonder everywhere, in being kind, and in believing that anything was possible.

As the storm faded, Sparkle became small again, and Lily found herself back in her room, her messy hair still wild from their adventure.

"Was it real?" Lily whispered to her goldfish.

Sparkle swam in a heart shape and winked—a tiny, golden sparkle of magic in her eye.

Some secrets, Lily learned, are the most wonderful kind of all.
