The Goldfish's Secret Phone

Maya found the old iPhone buried in her garden, glowing with a strange blue light. When she touched it, bubbles floated out instead of numbers!

"Help!" called a tiny voice. A goldfish named Gill swam through the screen as if it were water. "I'm not just any goldfish — I'm the Keeper of Lost Dreams! My pond is drying up."

Maya's eyes widened. "How can I help?"

"You must run to Miller's Pond before sunset," said Gill. "Only someone with a kind heart can save the Dream Spring."

Maya grabbed her shoes and started running through meadows and over hills. Her heart pounded with excitement. What if she wasn't fast enough?

When she reached Miller's Pond, it was smaller than she remembered. The water was low, and lily pads looked sleepy.

"Now you must swim to the center," Gill's voice echoed. "The Dream Pearl needs to be awakened!"

Maya had never liked swimming. But for her new friend, she would try. She waded in, cool water swirling around her legs. Deeper she went, until she was floating, then swimming.

The pond transformed! Fish appeared, each carrying a glowing dream. A turtle offered her a shimmering pearl.

"For believing in magic," said the turtle.

Maya placed the pearl in the center. The water sparkled, the pond filled with golden light, and Gill appeared bigger and happier.

"You're my best friend," Gill bubbled. "You saved all the dreams!"

That night, Maya's iPhone showed a message: "Dreams saved. Thank you, friend."

Maya smiled, understanding that the best magic doesn't come from screens — it comes from being brave, kind, and willing to dive into adventure for a friend.
