The Goldfish's Secret Mission
Lily's goldfish, Finley, wasn't ordinary. While other goldfish swam in lazy circles, Finley would dart to his castle at precisely 3 PM every day. Then he'd disappear!
One Tuesday, Lily decided to follow him. She hid behind the aquarium curtains as Finley swam through his plastic castle door—and didn't come out the other side!
Lily gasped. A tiny glow pulsed inside the castle. She reached in, and her finger brushed something magical. *Whoosh!* She shrank until she was small enough to slip through the castle door.
Inside, Finley waited. "You found my secret!" he bubbled. "I'm a secret helper for the Flower Fairies!"
Finley led Lily through a hidden tunnel into her backyard garden. There, tiny fairies with wings like stained glass were hard at work.
"We need your help," said Rose, the fairy queen. "Our magic vitamin dust—that makes flowers bloom—has gone missing!"
Lily's eyes widened. "I can help you find it!"
With Finley swimming beside her, Lily searched the garden. They looked under petals, behind rocks, and even inside the garden gnome's hat. Nothing.
Then Finley spotted something glinting near the bird bath. "There!"
A squirrel had scooped up the fairy dust, thinking it was sugar!
Lily approached slowly. "Mr. Squirrel," she whispered, "that's not sugar—it's magic!"
The squirrel twitched his nose. "Magic? For me?"
"For the flowers!" Lily explained. "But if you help return it, the fairies might share something special."
The squirrel returned the dust. In gratitude, Rose sprinkled special vitamin dust on his tail, making it shimmer like rainbows.
"You're now our garden spy," Rose told the squirrel. "You'll watch over the flowers!"
Lily returned to her room, normal size again. Finley swam happily in his bowl. Every afternoon at 3 PM, they still share magical adventures together—because sometimes the best friends are the ones with the biggest secrets.
