The Goldfish's Secret Mission

Lily was bored. It was a rainy Saturday, and her parents' old iphone sat on the table. But when she tapped the screen, something magical happened. A tiny goldfish swam out of the glass! His scales sparkled like rainbow sherbet.

"I'm Finn," said the goldfish in bubbles that popped into words. "And I'm a spy for the Magical Creature Council!"

Lily gasped. "A spy? But you're so small!"

"Size doesn't matter," Finn said proudly. "I need your help. My friends Bull and Bear are arguing again, and if they don't make up by sunset, the forest will lose its magic forever!"

Lily's heart raced. "I'll help!"

Finn grew butterfly wings. "Hold my fin!"

WHOOSH! They flew through the iphone screen into an enchanted forest. There, a giant bear with honey-colored fur and a shiny bull with horns like polished amber were stomping their feet.

"I found the golden honey first!" Bear grumbled.

"I cleared the path to it!" Bull snorted.

Finn whispered to Lily, "They both helped each other, but neither will admit it."

Lily stepped forward. "My teacher says sharing makes everyone happy. Why not split the honey?"

Bear and Bull looked at each other. Then at Lily. Then at their own big feet.

"We... we did work together," Bull said softly.

"I couldn't have reached the hive without your strong horns," Bear admitted.

Suddenly, the forest lit up with fireflies. Magic sparkles floated around them.

"The forest is saved!" Finn cheered. "You taught them something wonderful, Lily."

When Lily returned home, the iphone was just a phone again. But now she knew something magical: even the smallest friends can solve the biggest problems, especially when you choose kindness over being right.

That night, Lily dreamed of honey, sparkles, and new friends who might be waiting just beyond the screen.
