The Goldfish's Orange Discovery
Finley was no ordinary goldfish. While his brothers and sisters swam in lazy circles around their small castle, Finley spent his days pressing his nose against the glass of his bowl, wondering about the world beyond.
One morning, something magical happened. A young girl named Mia dropped something round and bright near Finley's bowl. It was an orange! Its citrusy scent drifted through the air, making Finley's fins wiggle with curiosity.
'What are you?' Finley bubbled.
To his surprise, the orange rolled closer. 'I'm not just any orange,' it said in a warm, sunny voice. 'I'm a Magic Vitamin Fruit!'
Finley had learned about vitamins from Mia's mother. 'You mean you make people healthy?'
'Much more than that!' The orange glowed softly. 'I hold the most important vitamin of all — Vitamin Friendship! It's invisible to most, but to those who truly need it, it shines brighter than the sun.'
Finley's bowl was suddenly lifted as Mia picked him up. She carried him to a sunny garden where three lonely children sat apart from the others. One was too shy to play, one felt too small to join the games, and one was new to the neighborhood and afraid.
Mia placed Finley's bowl on a table between them. The orange rolled beside it, and suddenly, its Vitamin Friendship magic filled the air. It wasn't like any vitamin Finley had ever heard of — it couldn't be swallowed or measured. But it could be felt.
The shy girl reached out to touch Finley's bowl. The small boy smiled. The new child scooted closer. Within minutes, they were talking, laughing, and playing together.
'The real magic,' the orange whispered to Finley, 'is that Vitamin Friendship grows every time it's shared. It's the only vitamin that multiplies instead of disappearing.'
That evening, as Finley swam in his peaceful bowl, he understood something wonderful. Some vitamins make your body strong, but the best ones make your heart strong. And sometimes, they come in the most surprising packages — even a goldfish's friendship and an orange's magic.
