The Goldfish's Magical Game
In a cozy blue bedroom, seven-year-old Mia peered into her glass bowl. "Bubbles, you're my best friend," she whispered to her tiny orange goldfish. Bubbles swished his golden tail and blew a perfect bubble that popped with a tiny *pling* sound!
That night, when the moon painted silver stripes on Mia's floor, something extraordinary happened. Bubbles jumped right out of his bowl! But instead of flopping on the carpet, he floated through the air like a tiny orange balloon.
"Come with me!" Bubbles said in a bubbly voice. "I want to show you something magical!"
He led her by a glowing cable that snaked through her window — a cable made of pure moonlight! It shimmered and sparkled, stretching all the way to the night sky.
Mia held her breath as they floated higher and higher, past her roof, past the trees, up into the starry dark. The moonlight cable pulsed warmly in her hand.
"Where are we going?" she asked.
"To the Star Padel Court!" Bubbles bubbled excitedly.
And there it was — a glowing court made of stardust, floating among the constellations. A friendly moon creature with a cratered face waved a golden racquet.
"Welcome!" said the Moon Keeper. "We play padel here every night when children dream. Would you like to join?"
Mia's eyes widened. "I've never played padel before!"
"That's perfect," the Moon Keeper smiled. "The best games are the ones you learn with friends."
And so Mia played padel among the stars, with Bubbles cheering and the Moon Keeper teaching her how to hit the star-ball. Every time she missed, the stars twinkled with laughter. Every time she scored, the moon beamed brighter.
When dawn painted the sky pink, Bubbles led Mia back home on the moonlight cable. She tucked him gently back into his bowl.
"Will you still be my friend tomorrow?" Mia asked.
Bubbles blew three perfect bubbles. *Pling, pling, pling!* "Always," he bubbled. "Friends who adventure together stay together."
Mia woke up wondering if it was all a dream. But when she looked at Bubbles, he wore a tiny golden racquet around his fin. Some adventures are too magical to be just dreams — especially the ones shared with true friends.
