The Goldfish's Magic Wish
Once there was a tiny goldfish named Fin who lived in a blue glass bowl on a windowsill. Every day, he watched the world outside and dreamed of adventures.
One morning, an orange cat named Mango tapped on the glass. "Hello there!" meowed Mango. "Would you like to see the forest?" Fin's fins trembled with excitement. "Oh yes, but I can't swim outside my bowl!"
Mango purred mysteriously. "Close your eyes and make a wish!" Fin squeezed his eyes shut and wished with all his heart. Poof! Suddenly, he wasn't swimming in water anymore—he was floating in a magical bubble!
They traveled to a sunny meadow where a giant bear was painting pictures on rocks. "Hello!" boomed Bear. "I'm Bernardo, and this is my friend Bull." A tiny bull with sparkly horns stepped forward. "I'm Blossom the Bull!" she said. "I may be small, but my horns grant wishes!"
Fin gasped. "Really?" Blossom nodded. "One wish per friend. But here's the secret: the best wishes are the ones you make for others."
Mango wished for endless treats. Bernardo wished for more colors to paint. But Fin thought carefully. What did he really want?
"I wish," Fin said slowly, "that every fish in every bowl could see the world like I'm seeing it now. No one should miss all this beauty!" When he finished speaking, his scales glowed golden, and hundreds of tiny bubbles floated into the air, carrying fish friends to see the world.
Bernardo clapped his giant paws. "That was the kindest wish I've ever heard!" Blossom's horns shimmered. "Your wish was so pure that it will last forever!"
That evening, Fin floated back to his blue bowl. He was still a small goldfish, but now he knew something magical: you don't have to be big to make a big difference. And every night, he dreamed of all the fish who were seeing stars and mountains and rainbows, all because of one small fish's very big heart.
The end.
